We have 9 exceptional guest rooms here at The Punchbowl which have just benefitted from a big budget refurbishment. We stripped the rooms back to a bare shell and started again. Calm tones, quality fittings and most importantly, insanely comfortable beds ensure you’ll have a great nights sleep.

Most of our rooms are family friendly. We have 2 rooms capable of accommodating a family of 3, 4 rooms capable of accommodating a family of 4 and one suite capable of accommodating a family of 6. Plus 1 cosy king room and 1 twin bedded room.

All of our rooms allow for 24 hour access and are equipped with a full UHD 4k Smart TV, a welcome tray with hot drinks & biscuits, a fan, a fan heater and a hair dryer. Iron & board is available on request. The rooms are stylish, full of charm and character, beautifully furnished, warm and cosy. We offer complimentary Wi Fi too.

The Punchbowl is ideally located for the business centres of Oxford & Witney, for touring the Cotswold's or for the numerous events held annually at Blenheim Palace which is just  a stones throw away.

 

Our tariff includes up to 2 guests in a room. Extra guests are charged £30 each per night and the reservation total will automatically calculate the total room tariff relative to the amount of guests

 

Breakfast is available at an additional cost but must be pre booked either when making your booking or when checking in. Breakfast is not available on Monday Mornings (except Bank Holiday Mondays)

 

🚗 Parking - We are fortunate to have our own small car park to the rear of the Inn. Parking is strictly on a first come basis. We are unable to guarantee or reserve a parking space. In the event that our car park is full, there is free public parking just 100m away behind the Fire Station. Electric vehicle charging point - subject to availability, additional cost

 

Dogs are welcome - there's a £15 per dog additional charge. Maximum of 2 dogs per room

Parking at the Punchbowl

We are fortunate to have our own small car park here at The Punchbowl.

This car park is for our guests to use during your time with us.

​WE ARE UNABLE TO GUARANTEE or RESERVE SPACES

​We have 2 x EV charging points available.

Parking is by PERMIT ONLY. A valid permit MUST be displayed prominently in your car.

Permits are available from the bar / reception area.

​Hotel guests:- the car park is available from 3pm on the day of checking in until 12 noon on your departure day.

​Restaurant guests:- you are welcome to use the car park for the duration of your time spent in the building.

Unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate parking while you are not physically on the premises.

​

Failure to display a valid permit WILL result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued.

​​

In the event that our car park is full, there is a public car park just 100m away behind the Fire Station on Hensington Road.

Currently this is free of charge for 12 hours. This car park has 12 EV charging points.

There is also on street parking throughout the town on a Pay & Display basis

 

IMPORTANT!!!

Our car park control is run by an external company and as such we are unable to issue permits outside of our opening times.

The parking company check our car park regularly so parking without a valid permit risks being charged

Restaurant Guests - It's not possible to issue a permit before your scheduled booking time

Room Guests - It's not possible to issue a permit until we check you in

In the event that you arrive early, parking your car without a permit carries the risk of a penalty charge which is out of our control

*Second bed is trundle 2' 3" or sofa bed

** We have 2 Deluxe King rooms at the front of the building. The view of the town is lovely however, these rooms are road side so inevitably there will be some traffic noise. If you'd prefer a quieter room, we have 2 towards the rear of the hotel. If requested, we will try our best to allocate a quieter room if available

Twin Room

Family Suite

Accommodates up to 5 or 6 people

Our Family Suite is made up out of 2 separate areas connected with a small corridor.

One area is furnished with a super comfy king size bed and a trundle bed, 2' 3" wide.

The other area has twin 2' 6" beds that are zip/link and can be made up as a king size with 24 hours notice and subject to availability. There is a £30 surcharge for this adaption.

Also, space for an additional Z bed too.

This suite is ideal for families where mum & dad and the

children* have their own space. 

Its also ideal for groups of 3 or 4 adults too.

*Children are classed as 15 years of age or younger

Our Cosy Double room is furnished with a super comfy King Size bed.

It's our smallest room but is still finished to the same high standards as our other rooms

and offers great comfort along with a value for money tariff.
